Prior to buying the St. Louis Sailing Center with his wife, Amy, Cyril was a turnaround executive with a successful record and passion for growing organizations, diversifying sales, launching new products and implementing innovative lean processes.
Cyril believes in cultural diversity based on having lived on four continents and conducted business in 21 countries. He is fluent in French and Spanish and has conversational abilities in Russian, Dutch, and Portuguese.
Cyril continues to be an Adjunct Professor at the Olin Business School of Washington University in St. Louis, teaching operations classes to full-time and part-time MBA students.
Cyril believes in giving back to the community and serves on the boards of The College Summit, Wash U's Alumni Association, The Association for Corporate Growth, as well as on committees for the Board of the St. Louis Zoo.
Cyril received his MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University and his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Cyril and Amy have four children who also enjoy water sports.
